Brioche Hard Fork1.1. Brioche Hard Fork Implementation on July 1, 2024On July 1, 2024, the Brioche Hard Fork was implemented, introducing the halving mechanism. Approximately 163.9 million WEMIX remained after burning 434.1 million WEMIX from the Reserve. The Reserve includes WEMIX held by the WEMIX Foundation and WEMADE.1.2. WEMIX DistributionIn accordance with the updated whitepaper, the remaining funds have been allocated across Development Costs, Marketing/Promotion, Investment/Partnership, Internally Owned, Staking Box, and Platform. The WEMIX distribution details following the implementation of the Brioche Hard Fork on July 1 are as follows. 1.3. Distribution PlanWith the implementation of the Brioche Hard Fork, the total supply of WEMIX was capped at approximately 590 million WEMIX, and the halving mechanism was applied from block 53,525,500. The unlock schedule for the Reserve is set annually on July 1, with approximately 44.3 million WEMIX converted to circulating supply as of July 1, 2024. The updated distribution plan following the Brioche Hard Fork is as follows.2. WEMIX Total SupplyThe guidelines for the circulating supply of WEMIX have been re-established to ensure transparent and deflationary tokenomics through the WEMIX VESTING PLAN 2023 (announced on December 21, 2022), WEMIX Foundation Max Supply Limit (announced on February 28, 2023), WONDER Staking (announced on June 20, 2023), and Brioche Hard Fork (implemented on July 1, 2024).This chapter includes data as of July 2, 00:00, when the main updates from the Brioche Hard Fork were fully applied. Details on the WEMIX supply are as follows.2.1. Total SupplyThe total supply of WEMIX is the sum of the TGE supply of 1 billion WEMIX and newly minted WEMIX, minus the total WEMIX burned. In the third quarter, the total supply decreased by approximately 430.2 million WEMIX, primarily due to the mass burn of 434.1 million non-circulating WEMIX held by the Foundation to implement the Brioche Hard Fork.2.2. Circulating SupplyThe circulating supply is calculated by deducting the non-circulating supply from the total supply. In the third quarter, the circulating supply increased by approximately 48.2 million WEMIX due to the inclusion of WEMIX unlocked in line with the Distribution Plan per the updated Whitepaper, and newly minted WEMIX.2.3. Internally Owned WEMIXInternally owned WEMIX refers to WEMIX held by the WEMIX Foundation and WEMADE. In the third quarter, internally owned WEMIX decreased by approximately 431.9 million WEMIX, primarily due to the burning of WEMIX held by the Foundation per the Brioche Hard Fork.3. WEMIX White Paper Distribution Plan UsageThis section was written to understand the distribution progress of WEMIX. The subsequent information details the utilization of WEMIX by the Foundation for the development of the WEMIX3.0 ecosystem.3.1. WEMIX Usage Details²⁰In the third quarter, the WEMIX usage in accordance with the Distribution plan increased by approximately 2.3 million WEMIX. The usage details of WEMIX have been categorized based on the original Whitepaper and the updated Whitepaper. 3.2. Usage Details Compared to Distribution Plan in WEMIX White PaperThe usage details compared to the allocation in the White Paper are as follows.4. WEMIX BurnThe WEMIX Deflationary Policy is designed to ensure the continuous growth of WEMIX and to provide benefits to the WEMIX community. The WEMIX Burn was implemented using various burning methods, including Mass Burn, Batch Burn, and Auto Burn.Following the implementation of the Brioche Hard Fork on July 1, a fundamental change in tokenomics took place by burning approximately 434.1 million WEMIX held by the foundation (approximately 40% of total supply) and applying the halving mechanism. The new tokenomics was restructured to significantly restrict the total supply, leading to the discontinuation of the existing WEMIX Burn program. The WEMIX Burn details are as follows.4.1 Mass BurnMass Burn is a process of burning a large amount of WEMIX held by the Foundation at its discretion to ensure stable growth of the ecosystem. This process was designed through the first round of BBBBB (Burn for Break-even Block Below Billion) to ensure that the total supply does not exceed the TGE of 1 billion WEMIX.(1) WEMIX BurnedA Mass Burn was conducted on July 1 to implement the Brioche Hard Fork, and a total of 434.1 million WEMIX held by the Foundation was burned.4.2. Batch BurnBatch Burn is designed to stabilize the ecosystem by burning a portion of WEMIX Foundation’s income including the investment revenue, and returning it to the community and the market. Under the general condition that the Foundation maintains financial stability, a portion of the investment returns — including the principal and profits — are subject to burning. No burns were classified as Batch Burn in the third quarter of 2024 with the discontinuation of WEMIX BURN.(1) WEMIX BurnedIn December 2022, the Buyback  Burn campaign was initiated as part of community protection measures and utilized 10 million USD from the Foundation in advance. A total of 15.4 million WEMIX was burned over three phases in the first quarter of 2023, and the funds for the Buyback  Burn campaign were fully recovered by the first quarter of 2024.4.3. Auto BurnThe Auto Burn mechanism expands in scale alongside the growth of the WEMIX3.0 mainnet and platform, driven by the community’s interest and participation, to achieve a balanced contraction of the token economy. All WEMIX3.0 Network fees, including the base fee and priority fees, are burned.(1) WEMIX BurnedWEMIX3.0 Network fees are automatically burned in real-time, and WEMIX Platform Revenue was excluded from assets subject to Auto Burn and reclassified to assets subject to Batch Burn. Auto Burn was halted on August 2 with the discontinuation of WEMIX BURN, resulting in a total of 32,484 WEMIX burned under Auto Burn in the third quarter of 2024.Appendix 1. Foundation’s Usage of WEMIX(1) WEMIX Usage after the Brioche Hard ForkThis section details the WEMIX usage by the Foundation, classified according to the revised Whitepaper following the Brioche Hard Fork. Cash Equivalent Resources AcquiredThe following outlines the cash and cash equivalent assets that have been secured for the expansion of the WEMIX3.0 ecosystem using WEMIX and have been categorized according to the Distribution Plan in the White Paper. The corresponding details are as follows.(1) Fundraising DetailsPrivate Sales were discontinued once Public Sales became available following the first exchange listing in 2020. Following the discontinuation of Private Sales, fundraising has been reclassified as Ecosystem Partnership  Investment. Batch BurnBatch Burn은 위믹스 재단의 투자 수입을 포함한 재단 수입 일부를 커뮤니티와 시장에 환원하여 생태계를 안정화하기 위해 소각하는 것으로, 일반적으로 재단이 건전한 재무 상태를 유지하는 경우, 투자 회수금의 일부를 소각의 재원으로 책정합니다. 2024년 3분기부터는 Batch Burn이 중단되어 발생 내역은 없습니다.(1) 소각 완료된 WEMIX2022년 12월 커뮤니티 보호책의 일환으로 발표한 Buyback  Burn 캠페인에 따라 재단 재원 10백만 USD로 우선 진행하여 2023년 1분기에 3회에 걸쳐 총 15.4백만 WEMIX가 소각 처리되었습니다. 이에 따라 선 진행된 Buyback  Burn 캠페인 재원은 2024년 1분기 소각 재원을 마지막으로 충당 완료되었습니다.4.3. Auto BurnAuto Burn은 커뮤니티의 많은 관심과 참여로 인해 WEMIX3.0 메인넷과 플랫폼이 성장함에 따라 소각의 규모 또한 확대되는 방식입니다.
