WEMIX Total SupplyTo pursue transparent and deflationary tokenomics, the guidelines for the WEMIX Circulating Supply have been re-established by the WEMIX Vesting Plan 2023 (announced on December 21, 2022), WEMIX Foundation Max Supply Limit (announced on February 28, 2023), and WONDER Staking (announced on June 20, 2023). Details on the WEMIX supply is as follows.1.1. Total SupplyThe total supply of WEMIX includes both the initially issued 1 billion WEMIX and newly minted WEMIX per block while excluding the amount of WEMIX burned. The total supply has increased by approximately 6.8 million in Q2.1.2. Non-Circulating SupplyNon-Circulating Supply refers to Foundation/WEMADE-Owned, and WEMIX staked by NCPs(Node Council Partners). Non-Circulating Supply does not affect the price of WEMIX in the short term as it is not supplied to the market.In Q2, the Non-Circulating Supply of WEMIX decreased by approximately 63.8 million. 60 million WEMIX from NCP staking — which was previously part of the Non-Circulating Supply — was re-categorized as Circulating Supply according to the new token distribution policy following the merge of NCP Staking and Grand Staking amount with the launch of WONDER Staking on June 22, 2023. However, this change has no impact on the actual circulating supply in the market as the 60 million WEMIX is permanently staked in nodes.1.3. Circulating SupplyCirculating Supply is calculated by subtracting Non-Circulating Supply from Total Supply. Approximately 70.6 million WEMIX has increased in circulation in Q2 as the entire amount of WONDER Staking has been recategorized as Circulating Supply.1.4. Foundation and WEMADE-Owned WEMIXCirculating and Non-Circulating WEMIX owned by the WEMIX Foundation and WEMADE are as follows.2. WEMIX BalanceDetails on the Net Changes of WEMIX based on the initial one billion WEMIX issued to develop the WEMIX ecosystem are as follows. This chapter was written for the purpose of understanding the distribution progress of the initially minted amount of WEMIX.2.1. Net Changes in Foundation-Owned WEMIX ReserveWEMIX used for the purpose of ecosystem development comprises WEMIX 3.0, WEMIX Classic, and pWEMIX. Details on the Net Changes in Foundation-Owned WEMIX Reserve are as follows.(1) Fundraising DetailsThere was no WEMIX fundraising in Q2 of 2023. As Private Sales were closed when Public Sales became available from the first exchange listing in 2020, they have been newly classified as Ecosystem Partnership  Fundraising.(2) Trading on Exchanges²⁵No WEMIX has been traded on exchanges in Q2 of 2023 as WEMIX trading on exchanges, including OTC, has been permanently closed as of January 2022.(3) WEMIX RevenueThe WEMIX Revenue in Q2 of 2023 amounts to 543,579 WEMIX. The WEMIX Revenue includes WEMIX obtained from a variety of fees on WEMIX PLAY, WEMIX.Fi, and KLEVA in the form of WEMIX3.0, WEMIX Classic, and pWEMIX.(4) WEMIX RecoveryWEMIX recovered in Q2 of 2023 is 1,498 WEMIX. WEMIX Recovery includes WEMIX retrieved from WEMIX used for the purpose of expanding the WEMIX ecosystem, such as investments and loans, due to cancellation, termination, or inaccurate deposits of WEMIX. Details on the WEMIX Recovery in Q2 2023 are as follows.2.2. Net Changes of Foundation-Owned Cash Equivalent AssetsThe Cash Equivalent Assets in Q2 of 2023 decreased by 61.4 million KRW. Details on the Net Change of Cash and Cash Equivalent Assets used to develop the WEMIX ecosystem are as follows.(1) Loan PayableAfter borrowing and repayment activities in Q4 of 2022, there were no additional borrowings in Q2 of 2023.(2) Capital Recovery(3) Cash and Cash Equivalent Revenue3. Use of WEMIXIn Q2 of 2023, the WEMIX Foundation used approximately 10.5 million WEMIX and approximately 9.4 billion KRW in cashable assets to expand the ecosystem.3.1. Use of Foundation-Owned WEMIX ReserveIn Q2 of 2023, approximately 10.5 million WEMIX was used for the WEMIX ecosystem.3.2. Use of Foundation-Owned Cash Equivalent AssetsIn Q2 of 2023, approximately 9.4 billion KRW in Cash Equivalent Assets was used to invest in the ecosystem.4. WEMIX BurnAs part of the WEMIX Deflationary Policy that has been designed to ensure the continuous growth of the value of WEMIX and provide practical benefits to the WEMIX community, the Foundation burns a portion of all revenue generated on each platform of the WEMIX3.0 ecosystem, investment returns, and gas fees starting this year. The information provided below is intended for general informational purposes, and the Foundation does not promise to share or distribute any benefits to anyone through the WEMIX BURN policy. The implementation of the WEMIX BURN policy, including burning ratios, targets, timing, quantities, and other related matters, is subject to the discretion of the Foundation and can be suspended or changed by the Foundation at any time. While all burn records can be verified on the WEMIX BURN platform, there are 3 types of WEMIX burn: Mass Burn, Batch Burn, and Auto Burn. Details of the amount burned up to 2Q of 2023 and assets to be burned are as follows.4.1. Mass BurnMass Burn is a process of burning a large amount of WEMIX held by the Foundation at its discretion to ensure stable growth of the ecosystem. The 1st BBBBB (Burn for Break-even Block Below Billion) was designed to ensure that the maximum issuance does not exceed 1 billion after the genesis minting. Mass Burn may also be additionally conducted based on the needs and decision of the Foundation.(1) WEMIX BurnedAll WEMIX burned in 2022 was classified as Mass Burn. No burning to be classified as Mass Burn has been conducted in Q2 of 2023.4.2. Batch BurnBatch Burn is a deflationary policy designed to stabilize the ecosystem by burning a portion of WEMIX Foundation’s investment revenue and returning it to the community and market. Under the general condition that the financial status of the Foundation is stable, a portion of the investment returns, currently set to 25% — including its principal and profit — is subject to burning. The Buyback  Burn campaign announced in Q4 of 2022 was carried out in three phases in Q1 of 2023 as part of the community protection measures. The $10 million budget used for the Buyback  Burn campaign was financed by the Foundation’s funds in advance. The Foundation plans to prioritize recovering the $10 million with accrued revenue to maintain financial stability of the Foundation. In addition, all Base Fees and Priority Fees are burned according to the WEMIX3.0 Gas Fee Policy.(1) WEMIX BurnedAccording to the Buyback  Burn campaign announced in Q4 of 2022, a total of 15.4 million WEMIX was burned in the course of three phases in Q1 of 2023 as part of the community protection measures. No burning to be classified as Batch Burn has been conducted in Q2 of 2023.(2) Cash Equivalent Assets Used as FundsThe Cash Equivalent Assets classified as Batch Burn in Q2 of 2023 are a total of 1,288.6 million KRW. These assets will be used to cover the Buyback  Burn funds previously allocated from the Foundation.4.3. Auto BurnAuto Burn is a scalable burning method that grows with the WEMIX3.0 mainnet and platform through the participation of the community. This will lead to deflationary tokenomics, reaching a balance between the minted quantity and burned quantity. Cash Equivalent Revenue will be used to purchase WEMIX to be burned.(1) WEMIX BurnedIn Q2 2023, WEMIX burned under the Auto Burn category is 1,001,954 WEMIX.(2) WEMIX Subject to BurningThe amount of WEMIX subject to burning that occurred in Q2 of 2023 is 163,753 WEMIX.(3) Cash Equivalent Revenue Subject to Auto BurnIn Q2 2023, the Cash Equivalent Revenue subject to Auto Burn is approximately 98.8 million KRW, which will be used to purchase WEMIX to be burned.5. Status on Distribution Plan ExecutionAfter the Genesis minting, WEMIX Private Sales was held to finance the project. As Public Sales became available with the first exchange listing in October 2020, the non-circulating WEMIX initially reserved for Private Sales was reallocated to the Community. Furthermore, with the inclusion of minted tokens from the WEMIX Quarterly Report in Q1 2023, the percentage of circulating supply may differ slightly from what was originally stated in the WEMIX White Paper. However, the initial 1 billion WEMIX issued remains the same as stated in the White Paper, excluding any minted quantity of WEMIX. WEMIX 소각 (Burn)WEMIX 생태계의 성장이 커뮤니티에게 실질적인 이득이 되고, 공급량 감소를 통해 WEMIX의 가치가 지속적으로 상승할 수 있도록 설계된 WEMIX 수축 정책(WEMIX Deflationary Policy)의 일환으로, 금년도부터 가스비 전액을 비롯하여, WEMIX3.0 생태계의 모든 플랫폼 수입 및 재단의 모든 투자 수익의 일부를 소각 진행하고 있습니다. 아래 WEMIX 소각에 관한 내용은 일반적인 정보를 제공하기 위한 목적으로 작성한 것이며, 재단은 WEMIX BURN 정책을 통해 누구에게도 어떠한 이익의 공유 또는 배분을 약속하는 것이 아닙니다. WEMIX BURN 정책의 실시여부를 비롯한 소각 비율, 대상, 시기, 수량 등 제반 사항은 재단의 재량에 따라 진행하는 것으로, 재단의 재량에 따라 언제든지 중단 또는 변경할 수 있습니다. 모든 소각 내역은 WEMIX BURN 플랫폼을 통해 확인할 수 있으며, 소각 유형에 따라 3가지 유형으로(Mass Burn, Batch Burn, Auto Burn) 구분하여 진행됩니다. 23년 2분기까지 소각된 물량 및 소각 대상 자산에 대한 상세 내역은 아래와 같습니다.4.1 Mass BurnMass Burn은 생태계의 안정적 성장을 위해 재단의 결정에 따라 재단 보유 WEMIX를 대량 소각하는 것으로, 그동안 1차 BBBBB(Burn for Break-even Block Below Billion) 진행을 통해 최고 발행량이 제네시스 민팅 10억개에 못 미치도록 설계하였으며, 향후에도 재단 결정에 따라 필요 시 Mass Burn이 진행됩니다.(1) 소각 완료된 WEMIX2022년에 진행된 소각은 Mass Burn으로 분류되며, 23년 2분기에 Mass Burn으로 분류되는 소각은 없습니다.4.2. Batch BurnBatch Burn은 위믹스 재단의 투자 수입의 일부를 커뮤니티와 시장에 환원하여 생태계를 안정화하기 위해 소각하는 것으로, 일반적으로 재단이 건전한 재무 상태를 유지하는 경우, 투자의 원금과 이익을 포함하는 투자 회수금의 일부를 소각의 재원으로 책정합니다. 현재 25%로 책정하였으며, 2022년 12월 커뮤니티 보호 조치의 일환으로 진행된 Buyback  Burn 캠페인은 23년 1분기 3차에 걸쳐 진행된 바 있으며, Buyback  Burn으로 사용된 10백만 USD 예산은 재단 재원으로 우선 진행하였습니다. 해당 금액에 대해서는 재단의 건전한 재무 상태 유지를 위해 향후 추가 재원 발생 시 우선 충당할 계획입니다.(1) 소각 완료된 WEMIX2022년 12월 커뮤니티 보호책의 일환으로 발표한 Buyback  Burn 캠페인에 따라, 2023년 1분기에 3회에 걸쳐 총 15.4백만 WEMIX가 소각되었으며, 23년 2분기에 Batch Burn으로 분류되는 소각은 없습니다.(2) 소각 재원으로 사용될 WEMIX 외 현금성 자산23년 2분기 Batch Burn 소각 대상 재원으로 사용될 현금성 자산은 총 1,288.6백만원입니다. 이는 재단 재원으로 기 진행되었던 Buyback  Burn 소각 재원을 충당하는데 사용될 예정입니다.4.3. Auto BurnAuto Burn은 커뮤니티의 많은 관심과 참여로 인해 위믹스3.0 메인넷과 플랫폼이 성장함에 따라 소각의 규모 또한 확대되는 방식이며, 위믹스3.0의 다이나믹 수수료 체계에 따라 기본 수수료(Base Fee)와 우선 수수료(Priority Fee)를 모두 소각하고, 위믹스 플랫폼 수입의 일부를 지속적으로 소각함으로써, 네트워크의 안정적인 수수료 소각과 함께 플랫폼의 수입이 소각되어 민팅과 소각의 밸런스로 수축 토큰경제로 나아가는 것을 목표로 합니다.
