위믹스, 블록민팅 중단

WEMIX3.0 has been minting one WEMIX per block, known as PMR(Permanent Minting Reward), for the purposes such as (1)validator rewards for transaction verification, (2)WEMIX Wonder Staking rewards, (3) rewarding users and dApp builders for generating ecological transactions, (4) establishing the EcoFund, and (5) covering network maintenance costs. Consequently, the total supply of WEMIX has been subject to an annual inflation of approximately 3.15% compared to the 1 billion TGE(Token Generation Event) at the Genesis Block.Driven by the vision of establishing the world’s largest commercial blockchain with a robust mega-ecosystem, WEMIX foundation is committed to achieving a deflationary economy where the inflation of block minting rewards becomes negated by the amount of network fees(gas fees) burned through the network. In order to reach this goal, we have actively utilized programs like Mass Burn, Batch Burn, and Auto Burn to artificially reduce the total supply of WEMIX.To further solidify the fundamentals and practical aspects of WEMIX tokenomics, the foundation has decided to discontinue block minting rewards. This effectively means that the total supply of WEMIX will either remain fixed or be reduced from the block height in which the discontinuation of block minting rewards is implemented.▶ Existing Block Rewards :Block rewards, essential for motivating the community and dApp developers, including the 40 WONDERS, will be distributed using WEMIX held by the foundation. Considering the current volume of WEMIX held by the foundation, this distribution method can be sustained for approximately 20 years. Consequently, the current network fees burned through Auto Burn will transition to Batch Burn, with the burn rate determined at the end of each quarter.▶ Upcoming Schedule :The ‘Zero Minting’ for WEMIX will proceed in the following sequence :1.
