25일(화) 오전 ‘블록체인 게임: 게임의 경계를 허물다’ 주제로 발표블록체인 기술 통한 패러다임 전환 설명하며 일본 게임사 참여 독려㈜위메이드 장현국 대표가 일본 웹3(Web3) 콘퍼런스 ‘웹엑스(WebX)’에 기조연설자로 나서 ‘블록체인 게임: 게임의 경계를 허물다’를 주제로 발표했다.25일(화) 오전 장현국 대표는 “블록체인, 토큰, NFT 기술로 인터게임 이코노미와 인터게임 플레이를 구축해 게임 산업에 혁명을 일으킬 것”이라며, “많은 일본 개발사가 블록체인 게임 개발에 참여하길 바란다”고 말했다.그는 “블록체인 기술과 게임의 결합은 세 가지 장벽을 뛰어넘은 혁신”이라고 소개하며, “게임 내 자산의 소유권을 이용자에게 돌려주고 게임과 현실 경제의 경계, 게임과 게임의 경계를 허물어 새로운 패러다임을 제시하고 있다”고 설명했다.또 “3년 후에는 모든 게임이 블록체인 게임으로 진화할 것”이라며, “블록체인 게임 서비스에 필요한 시스템을 완벽히 갖춘 위믹스 플레이(WEMIX PLAY)가 모든 것을 뒷받침할 수 있는 플랫폼이 되겠다”고 강조했다.한편, 위메이드는 7월 25일(화)부터 26일(수)까지 일본 도쿄국제포럼에서 열리는 ‘웹엑스(WebX)’에 플래티넘 스폰서로 참가하고 있다. 단독 전시 부스를 마련해 위믹스3.0(WEMIX3.0) 메인넷의 진일보한 생태계를 알리며 일본 블록체인 시장 공략을 본격화했다.

I hope more Japanese developers create blockchain games.”He also went on to state that combining blockchain technology with games broke down three boundaries: ownership of game items, economies between games and games. Returning in-game resources back to users, breaking down the economic boundaries between games and the real world, and connecting multiple games via blockchain technology are all new paradigm shifts that blockchain technology offers.“In three years, all games will transform into blockchain games,” said Henry Chang, “and WEMIX PLAY, which has everything to service blockchain games, will be a go-to platform for all developers that wish to onboard their games.”Meanwhile, Wemade participating in WebX, held in Tokyo from July 25th to 26th, as a platinum sponsor.
