Oh Serena! What an awesome experience it's been to be able to write a song about a complete stranger and have it personally touch them and make the feel "special"... Serena told me that she was so happy to meet me, because the song I wrote made her "feel special" ... That is what has made this little adventure such a huge blessing. I'm not one to do competitions, but to jump into someone's inside and try to figure out what their soul might be screaming is such an amazing honor... if you get it right. :-) Meeting Serena and her tennis family was an honor. Mostly because tennis isn't a huge deal to me, but I got to use music to inspire someone who inspires millions everyday.... I am blessed, and humbled... Thanks Serena!
